NON-FICTION:

Lost Angel Walk About is a spirited collection of travel essays and articles recounting the haps, mishaps, and serendipitous adventures that have given me a sense of wonder and delight.  In these stories, I strive to take you to the special places I’ve enjoyed, so you may share the sensual experience of being there without straining one muscle, getting altitude sickness or tipping your canoe. Even though many of my adventures call for a modicum of fitness, be assured that I am one of you. I don’t go to the villages of the Dayak, once headhunters, on the island of Borneo or to the Salt Mines in Timbuktu. I don’t plunge down thousand-foot waterfalls in kayaks or wrestle with pythons in the Amazon.  I do enjoy the comforts of home, but I am willing to forego these pleasures to get to the heart of a landscape via a no-frills holiday. All of the trips I take are with the benefit of experienced, professional guides who tend to the safety of their clients.
